Satellite
Dish
The Satellite Dish is a straight-forward monument in Rust similar in size to the Sewer Branch or Dome. You can access the monument from any direction and progress through the different areas in any order.
Around the Dishes
The area around the Satellite Dish is scattered with food crates and barrels, nothing amazing but useful early game. Radiation levels are fairly low but cover a wide area; you'll only need basic clothing to counter the effects.
Lines of sight around the Satellite Dish are fairly good until you get close to the platform - the multi-level Dishes, central building, cars and other assorted items allow campers plenty of options for an ambush, check your surroundings at all times.
The platform
The platform that the Dishes sit on is raised well above the ground but is easily accessible from most sides. There is a good assortment of loot to be found as well as a handy Recycler under one of the Dishes.
Dishes
The Dishes themselves have steps leading to loot crates. It's arguable whether the juice is worth the squeeze but you'll always be wondering if that all important component was up there after you leave.
Utilities
Satellite Dish is a good option for your starter base due to the inclusion of Research Table and Recycler.
The Security Door
The puzzle at Satellite Dish is as basic as they get in Rust - take a Fuse and place in the ground level hut, flick the switch to activate the circuit then run to the other side to open the Green Card door. Loot is basic but the real prize is an easy Blue Card.
Final thoughts
Satellite Dish is a useful monument to have near-by until you progress to your own Research Table - other than that it doesn't offer much to a player.
